A Tradition of Excellence Since 1955
Dial Tool Industries began a tradition of excellence in 1955 when our founder, Gregory “Leo” Pagliuzza had a goal; to provide complete manufacturing services and efficient, cost-effective tool and die services. He achieved that goal, and today, over a half a century later, we continue to uphold it.
History
DTI is a family-owned business flourishing under the leadership of Leo’s sons Steve and Mario. Leo started the company in 900 square feet of space. Today, we have established DTI as a premier metal stamper and manufacturer, and continue to thrive in our 40,000 square foot facility in Addison, Illinois.
What establishes DTI as a leader in the industry is our belief in building long-term relationships with our customers. To that end, we strive to exceed and surpass our customers’ expectations on every job. We’re proud to be a full-service premier metal manufacturer.
We work with our customers from concept to completion. Our engineers can help develop ideas that work. With our state-of-the-art technology and dedication to quality, Dial Tool Industries is the first choice in premier metal manufacturers.

Quality
We are determined to always give our customers the highest level of quality and value in the parts we manufacture. We strive, not to just meet, but exceed our customer’s needs. This is done, by producing a product that is of the highest quality, without adding additional costs to our customers.
Exceeding Expectations Always
Efficiency
With our customers in mind, we constantly evaluate our processes for cost savings and efficiencies. Dial Tool Industries is committed to quality. We take an enormous pride in maintaining our internal quality requirements, In addition to the customers’ stated print tolerances/specifications. To achieve this, we use a variety of metrology such as micrometers, gauge pins, calipers, optical comparators, height gauge, visual systems, and gauge blocks. To guarantee quality is achieved on every part that we produce, we monitor the following areas of the production process at all times.
- Constant monitoring of the parts running in the production area after set up approval.
- Last piece inspection before moving to next operation.
- Keeping records and samples of each run to ensure consistent flow of quality parts to our customers.
- Work with customers to keep prints up to date with changes that occur over time.
- Validate incoming raw materials to ensure they are what were ordered and ready for the production run.
- Monitor the quality of outside subcontractors such as plating, painting, de-burring, and heat treating.
